Australia’s employer-sponsored visa pathway offers skilled overseas workers the opportunity to live and work in Australia through nomination by an approved Australian employer. The Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) Visa – Subclass 482 allows workers to fill temporary positions, with the possibility of transitioning to permanent residency.
The Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) Visa – Subclass 186 provides a direct permanent residency route for eligible applicants. To qualify for these visas, applicants must demonstrate the required skills, relevant work experience, English language proficiency, and hold a valid nomination from an eligible employer. Many skilled migrants begin with the Subclass 482 visa and later transition to the Subclass 186 visa after meeting the necessary criteria.
